WellMed is adding a new honor to its list of accomplishments: Best Family Practice.

Earlier this month, lifestyle publication Living Magazine announced that readers in the McKinney/Allen area of North Texas had bestowed the honor on WellMed, one of several winners in the magazine’s Readers’ Choice awards for 2025.

The annual contest honors those companies that online voters recognize as the premiere names in Texas’ restaurant, entertainment, health care, retail and other industries.

“This is a prestigious contest,” said Michelle Haywood, senior marketing advisor for the magazine, adding that a win signifies a brand as premiere quality.

Winners receive Living’s Best Of logo that can be used on websites, a company’s social media channels and email signatures.

That is in addition to being featured in the print and digital versions of Living’s August edition.

This year marks the first win for WellMed.
