Biography

Cynthia Montanez, NP, focuses on patient-centered care when working with patients, ensuring patients feel heard and understood throughout their health care journey.

NP Montanez received her graduate degree from the University of Texas at El Paso and is board-certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She chose to pursue medicine after her father underwent an aortic valve replacement and a stroke. After observing frequent hospital visits, she felt inspired to pursue a career in health care to assist and educate other individuals and their families going through difficult times.

Today, her favorite part of her job is building strong relationships with patients and their families. Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, NP Montanez still resides there. She enjoys working out, traveling and spending time with family in her free time. She has a special interest in working with geriatric patients.
