Biography

Lucia Sierra, FNP, was born in Reynosa, Tamaulipas, Mexico, and raised in Weslaco, Texas. She decided to become a family nurse practitioner after recognizing her strong desire to help others and make a positive difference in their health.

Mrs. Sierra takes great pride in treating multiple conditions, allowing her to focus on more than one medical specialty. She sees all patients, regardless of age, and enjoys getting to know those in her care.

Her favorite aspect of being a family nurse practitioner is interacting with patients and helping them navigate any Spanish-English language barriers so they can receive the care they need and deserve. She also enjoys assisting patients to learn more about their conditions and medications and about lifestyle changes they can make to become healthier.

Mrs. Sierra's clinical interests include allergies, musculoskeletal conditions, wound care, diabetes, HTN, acute and chronic conditions and women's health. She currently lives in Katy with her husband and three children and enjoys reading and watching movies in her free time.
