Biography

Mary Stettmeier, MD, is a physician who attended Ross University School of Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at SUNY Buffalo. She advocates lifestyle changes to improve overall health.

Dr. Stettmeier was formerly a pharmacist in the US Army Reserves and was encouraged to become a physician by a flight surgeon she was working with. Clinically, she is particularly interested in treating dementia, depression, diabetes, heart disease, high blood pressure, high cholesterol and obesity, among others. She is board certified in family medicine and preventive medicine with a subspecialty in addiction medicine.

Dr. Stettmeier was born and raised in central Connecticut. She has two adult children and two grandchildren. In her spare time, she enjoys exercising, taking care of cats, running and listening to live music with friends.
