Christine Varela, NP

Christine Varela, APRN, FNP-C was born and raised in Plainview, TX and currently lives in Fort Worth, TX. Christine received her undergraduate degree from West Texas State University in Canyon, TX and her graduate degree from South University in Round Rock, TX. She pursued medicine to be able to help patients with their health and be a vector of change. Christine decided to specialize in family medicine to have the opportunity to see a variety of patients. She believes in treating every patient with respect and accommodating to their level of understanding. Her favorite part of her job is when the patient connects the dots and realizes their health can improve. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her dog, Sadie, traveling, hiking and cooking. Christine feels very privileged to be working with Dr. Hood and Healthcare Associates of Texas. She believes her staff is the best.
